Filing A Complaint

Any member of the college community, visitors, or guests may file a complaint against any student for misconduct. Complaints will be presented to the dean of students (or designee). Any complaint should be submitted in writing as soon as possible after the event takes place, preferably within one semester. At the discretion of the dean of students, the college may pursue a complaint made much later. The college has the right to pursue a complaint or perception of misconduct on its own behalf, and to serve as complainant.

The dean of students or designee will assume responsibility for the investigation of the alleged violation as described in the section titled “Conduct System, II”.
