Community Volunteer Time
The college encourages all its employees to become active in the community. Therefore, to reward community involvement, the college will provide 16 paid hours each fiscal year, July 1 through June 30, for volunteer activities in the community. Approval from your supervisor is needed before taking time away from your work duties for community volunteer work. Volunteer time hours should be recorded along with sick/vacation.
Volunteer time is not considered hours worked for purposes of calculating overtime.
