Animals On Campus Policy
Pets and other animals (with the exception of service animals) are not permitted in any campus building (e.g., classrooms, labs, offices, meeting spaces, athletic facilities, etc.), near building entrances, or in campus vehicles. For events such as “pet therapy” and fund-raising service projects, notice must be posted in the Student Crier and Academic Affairs Announcements seven (7) days in advance. Animals must be kept outdoors and not block entrances to building.
This policy protects the ADA rights of individuals with allergies to animals, reduces the liability of the college to untended risks to individuals and the potential expense of property damage.
