Student Development
The Student Development division at Central College is a team of dynamic, student-focused professionals, encompassing Counseling Services, Residence Life and Student Safety, Student Leadership, Involvement, and Inclusivity, and the Dean of Students. We are committed to developing a co-curricular experience that is both challenging and meaningful, complements the college mission and strategic plan, and is carried out in partnership with students, faculty, and staff.
Our mission is to intentionally develop learning and living environments where students can
~move toward an integrated sense of personal identity and life goals;
~safely explore and understand choices as they relate to healthy behaviors, community values, and mutual respect;
~be engaged in processes that promote student responsibility, leadership, and service.
