I. Purpose and Consequences of Non-Compliance
The purposes of this Policy are twofold: (1) to comply with the reporting obligations contained in Iowa Code section 261.9(h) as set out in Section III of this Policy, and (2) to advance Central College’s goal of promoting the safety of Minors and Dependent Adults.
Failure to abide by applicable provisions of this Policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment, expulsion, termination of contract, termination of the Youth Program, and/or denial of the privilege of using Central College facilities.
All questions about this Policy, requests for approval under this Policy, and reports of violations of this Policy should be directed to Central College’s Title IX Coordinator and Equity Officer (currently Peggy Fitch) at (641) 628-5249 or titleIX@central.edu. Any reports of a violation of this Policy will be promptly investigated, and appropriate remedial action will be taken. Retaliation against an individual reporting a violation of this Policy in good faith or participating in an investigation related thereto will not be tolerated.
