VI. Policies Applicable to Minors on Campus While Not Participating in a College- Related Activity
Central College is not generally an appropriate environment for Minors who are not Enrolled Students, prospective students, participants in a supervised Youth Program, or attending events open to the public. Central College follows the policies below regarding other Minors on campus:
- Minors who are not participating in a college-related activity should not be left unattended on the Central College campus for any reason and should be supervised at all times by parents, guardians or other authorized adults. Central College reserves the right to contact law enforcement for an unattended Minor who is not participating in a college-related
- Minors who are not participating in a college-related activity may be restricted from access to certain areas due to safety
- Minors who are not participating in a college-related activity may not accompany Central College Enrolled Students to class without faculty prior
- If an Enrolled Student wishes to have an overnight guest in the residence hall who is a Minor, they must obtain a Consent and Waiver Form for overnight Minor guests from Central College Residence Life and return the completed form to Residence Life or by email to ResidenceLife@central.edu at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the start of the Central College reserves the right to deny permission for the overnight guest if the Consent and Waiver Form is not completed in its entirety, or if the stay presents any concerns regarding the safety and security of its residence halls.
